Jordan Schulefand

Jordan is an expert in pitching, hitting, fielding, and strength & conditioning. Jordan has played baseball professionally and collegiately at a Division 1 level. He was a successful Division 1 athlete playing as a 2-way player for the University of Richmond and University of Maine. He played 4 years of baseball and 2 years of football at University of Richmond and 1 year of baseball at The University of Maine.

During his time in college, Jordan played centerfield, right field and pitched. During his last season at the University of Maine, he lead the team in batting average (.350), on base percentage (.457), ranked second in stolen bases (22), doubles (13) and total hits (62). He earned America East First Team All-Conference recognition along with being named to the NEIBA All-New England Second Team. Once he graduated college, he went on to play professionally for many teams in the Pioneer and Frontier leagues. He again was able to pitch, hit, and play outfield at this level.

  • Earned 2016 Rawlings Underclass All-American and Perfect Game High Honorable Mention and preseason All-American honors

• Named Perfect Game's MVP Pitcher of the Memorial Day Tournament (2017)

• Three-time All-District honors and three-time Second Team All-County honors

• Holds the Pine Crest career triples record while registering 171 career strikeouts where he was a four-year starter

• Three-year starter in football where he was a two-time All-Conference player, and was named First Team All-State

• Holds school records in both passing yard and touchdown passes

• Named the 2016-17 Pine Crest Male Athlete of the Year

  • Earned America East First Team All-Conference recognition along with being named to the NEIBA All-New England Second Team

  • Captain of the University of Richmond baseball team for 2 years

  • Our son who is 10 has been playing ball for 5 years and has been playing travel baseball for 4 seasons needed help with his swing. After only a few lessons his confidence at the plate increased and his swing was more consistent. Now he is hitting a lot better and understands how to drive the ball to different parts of the field.   • My son is already an accomplished hitter with fundamentally sound mechanics. Without altering anything jordan has helped him with a few important things which will aid in his development. 1) develop a rock solid approach to each at bat 2) understand his swing so that he can self correct, not only on any given weekend, but during an at bat. 3)understand a couple of negative things that occasionally flair up in his swing so that he can easily fix 4) understand exactly what pitch he is looking for when it is a hitters count, and to take anything else, even if it is a strike. Jordan is young, having just wrapped up his D1 collegiate career, and is relatable to the kids he works with.
